Candeo Hotels Tokyo Roppongi - Skyspa & Breakfast

If you have been following my blog, you probably know that I stayed at the fabulous Candeo Hotels Tokyo Roppongi during my last trip across Japan. However, if this is the first time you're reading my blog, I will give you a quick rundown. This September, I went on a trip across Japan to showcases as many cool things and places as I can to my followers. Because of this, I also stayed at many different hotels all across Japan. One of these is called Candeo Hotels Tokyo Roppongi and it is located at the heart of Tokyo's entertainment district called Roppongi. I was especially looking forward to staying at this hotel since I haven't experienced any of the famous Japanese nightlife so far during this trip, and this was a perfect opportunity to do so since the hotel is located only a short walk away from many famous clubs and bars. I was satisfied with this hotel and the room in which I stayed, and I have to say that I will definitely consider it as an option when I go here again. However, the room and the location of the hotel are great but are not its best features. These things, in my opinion, are the fabulous Skyspa located at the very top of the hotel, and the Candeo Hotels Tokyo Roppongi's famous breakfast buffet, which offers a huge amount of different dishes and beverage for you to enjoy each morning.

Skyspa

The Skyspa, as I already said, is located on the top floor of the hotel and contains two separate baths, one for men and one for women. Each bath consists of a dressing room, an area where you clean yourself, a sauna, and an outdoor and an indoor bath. Keep in mind that the male bath has a dry sauna and the female bath has a misty sauna. Also, the male bath has a cold bath as well. One more thing to note is the fact that the spa is free to use for all guests of the hotel. However, guests with tattoos are not permitted to use the Skyspa.  

Since the Skyspa is located so high, you can catch glimpses of buildings all around you making you feel like you are bathing among the clouds. This Skyspa is a huge perk in my opinion as it enables you to relax after a fun but usually exhausting night out. I felt so good each time that I used it, especially when afterward I would have a big and delicious breakfast they offer here.

Breakfast

The breakfast is served at the restaurant located on the lobby floor of the hotel and is available for the guests of the hotel from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. There's a huge amount of different dishes to try, both Japanese and western. The things I enjoyed the most were cereals, different types of cheese and ham, croissants, eggs, and salmon salad. But there are so many more dishes to try and it would be hard to name them all here. Check the photos so you can get the impression of the wide variety of selection you have there.

My stay here was a pleasurable experience and I will be looking forward to staying at Candeo Hotels again. I strongly recommend that you check out their website and learn more about this hotel. You won't regret it.

I'm sure that by now you know quite a lot about my trip across Japan this September. As you probably know, I started this trip with the goal of visiting as many places as possible, mostly in the area around Tokyo, and because of that, I had to switch many hotels. The last one in which I stayed, and certainly not the least, was the Candeo Hotels Tokyo Roppongi. I'm especially fond of this hotel since it was the place where I stayed the most nights. As you might have already guessed by the name of the hotel, it's located in the famous Tokyo nightlife district of Roppongi, and as such, it was the best place to experience Tokyo's nightlife. As I said in my previous post, this hotel has a perfect location, since most of the famous bars and clubs in Roppongi are only a short walk away.

After arriving in Roppongi and walking around a bit, I quickly found the hotel. It is quite easy to spot thanks for the fact that there are huge shiny letters on the side of the building showing its name. Even though I arrived a bit earlier than the stated check-in time, the staff was very kind and allowing me to check in right away. I was given a quick rundown of the rules and some instructions about the hotel and pointed to my room which was an Executive Twin Room.

 The room was located on one of the top floors of the hotel, and thanks to that, it had an amazing view of the many impressive buildings located in and around Roppongi. I was even lucky enough to be able to see the famous Tokyo Tower through my window. I spent quite a lot of time there just relaxing on the sofa next to the window and taking in the view of the whole area. I especially loved watching the night slowly descending on the city and the first lights turning on. The room itself was entirely satisfactory and it had everything I expected it would have. 

My bed was large and comfortable, sofa and the rest of the standard furniture was of good quality, and the air conditioner was a lifesaver considering how hot it was that time Tokyo. The amenities that are included in the room where a hairdryer, many toiletries, slippers, a refrigerator, a flat-screen TV, an alarm clock and an electric kettle. The bathroom itself suited the style and the size of the room. It had a modern Japanese bidet toilet and a bathtub with a shower. However, I preferred heading to the SkySpa to take a bath there, since it was for me one of the highlights of the hotel.

I have to say that I quite enjoyed the days I spent in the Candeo Hotels Tokyo Roppongi and the whole area in general and that I will be coming here again I hope. Also, I suggest that you check out their website to learn more about what can this amazing hotel offer to you?

Candeo Hotels Tokyo Roppongi is one of the hotels in which I stayed this September during my trip across Japan. One of the main reasons I had chosen Candeo Hotels Tokyo Roppongi was its absolutely ideal location in the heart of Tokyo's most fun nightlife district, Roppongi. It's hard to overstate how perfectly located this hotel is. For example, I never had to walk more than 10-minutes to a bar or club that I wanted to visit, and the Roppongi metro station is only located a short 5 minute walk away from the hotel. This allows me to rapidly go wherever I wanted in the area, and to return to the hotel as well if I needed without much effort. For example, one night I was in a bar with my friend, he accidentally spilled beer all over my shirt. Usually, that's a big problem because often the bars I visit are far away from the hotel in which I stay. However, since I was staying in Candeo Hotels Tokyo Roppongi, I only had to take a short walk to the hotel to change, and I was back in 15 minutes tops.

One more reason why booking a hotel in a nightlife district is an advantage is the fact that trains and other public transportation do not operate after midnight in Japan. The only option you have is a taxi, which is extremely expensive. That is why, if you're planning on experiencing Japan's famous nightlife, you should definitely book a hotel that is located near all the clubs and bars you want to visit.

The hotel itself is easily recognizable since it is a tall slender building, with the name Candeo Hotels written on the side with large shiny letters. Even though this is a busy nightlife district, the area around the hotel itself is calm and quiet at night.

A few more things that make this hotel a great choice are, other than it's perfect location, the spectacular Skyspa located at the top floor, and a rich breakfast buffet they have in the hotel. The Skyspa is particularly amazing since it enabled me to relax after many fun and crazy Roppongi nights, while the breakfast buffet gave me the much-needed energy boost each morning.
